Why Are There Light People Skinned People In Igboland
~1.3 mins read
First and foremost let me correct the idea, it's based on stereotype.
Not all Igbo's are light skinned. West African countries has been known for having dark skinned people especially in Ghana.
Nigeria bring the most populated black nation still has a trace of light skinned individuals especially from the South Eastern part of the country.
You are definitely going to find Chocolate, Ebony and dark skinned guys and ladies among them.
Being in mind that light skinned people are not restricted to the Igbo's alone but it cuts across a tribes in Nigeria.
Yes!, It's of no doubt that there are higher percentage of light skinned individuals from the Igbo's than other tribes and for sure I can't really say where that came from.
There are a number of New World Africans with high West African DNA wigh a lighter range of complexion.
So this leads to my theory and assumptions that bring light skinned or light skinness is not necessarily related to "Caucasoids" or as would have seems to be the predominant belief. This might be just the fact that the highly densed rain forest in the Igbo land did not increase or necessitate the high production of melanin which gives colour to the hair, skin and eyes.
Being honest, most beautiful people are indeed dark skinned maybe in probably high ratio actually.
These doesn't mean that the light skinned that is more in the Igbo's made them more special than the other tribes, no!
Infact at the end of it all, whether light skinned or dark skinned, you will eat sh*t, feel pain and die just like every other person.

Indeed black people everywhere should show off their powerful pigmentation because melanin is something worthwhile!
