Praying the Beatitudes of Jesus to deepen our prayer life

Praying the Beatitudes is a powerful way to pray. The Beatitudes are so rich in spiritual meaning, when we pray the words of Jesus mountains are moved. The Beatitudes is a collection of powerful teachings jesus taught in a powerful sermon known as the sermon on the Mount, He sat on a hill in Israel ( known as the mount of Beatitudes)and preached these powerful words.
These Beatitudes can be found in the book of Matthew chapter 5 until chapter 7. What can we learn from the Beatitudes ?. The Beatitudes teach us the Beautiful truth of what it truly means to be blessed. The word blessed in Greek is Makarios, which means happy. The great paradox in the Beatitudes is the fact that no one would be expect the things Jesus mentions to actually make us happy. It's like the verse in James 1:2-4, consider suffering a joy. How can we be joyful when we face trials of many kinds. It also reminds me of Paul's words in Philipians 3:10.
Here is a Beatitudes prayer we have to pray every day so we can be pleasing to our Heavenly father.
Lord teach me to be humble and gentle in spirit, just as you are. You did not use your power to dominate and control others, but to serve them with humility. Teach me to view meekness as powerful strenght, that I may inherit your blessings. Lord you are the Bread of life. Help me to hunger and thirst after you and your righteousness, and I will never be empty. Fill me with grace and power of your Word. Lord teach me to be a peacemaker in our world of strife and unrest. Peacemakers do not avoid conflict, but lovingly confront other with the truth of your Word. Hallelujah Amen.
We can be blessed, happy and filled with unspeakable joy when we take our burdens to the cross of Christ, and when we remember that Jesus suffered so that we can be fully blessed in Him.

The Osun-Osogbo Grove is among the last of the sacred forests which usually adjoined the edges of most Yoruba cities before extensive urbanization. In recognition of its global significance and its cultural value, the Sacred Grove was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2005. Every year, the Osun-Osgogbo festival is celebrated in the month of August at the grove. Yearly, the festival attracts thousands of Osun , spectators and tourists from all walks of life. For the people of Osogbo Land, August is a month of celebration, traditional cleansing of the city and cultural reunion of the people with their ancestors and founders of the Osogbo Kingdom. The Osun-Osogbo Festival is a two-week-long program. It starts with the traditional cleansing of the town called 'Iwopopo', which is followed in three days by the lighting of the 500-year-old sixteen-point lamp called 'Ina Olojumerindinlogun'. The festival is also held in the honor of the river goddess Osun.
