Why You Shouldnt Just Say No To Cultism But Flee From The Enticing Monster

WHY YOU SHOULDN’T JUST SAY NO TO CULTISM BUT FLEE FROM THE ENTICING MONSTER.
I am not unaware that the various cult groups may have very high ranking members who with a snap of their fingers can order for my head but posterity shall not forgive me if I fail to acknowledge Wong Box and dedicate this piece to the social media page for the concerted efforts on sensitization towards curbing the recent suspected cult killings ravaging our dear state thus far. Thank you.
Cultism is a sweet tale that gets sour and eventually turns bitter to the detriment of oneself and the society. You can read that again.
If you already belonged and you are reading this piece, this is may not appeal to you because you may likely pick offense at the myths been demystified. You know how true they are but the ego will not let you acknowledge hence, this piece is for youngsters who may be under pressure to belong, urging them not to throw in the towel but flee to save themselves from eventual death or life full of regrets.
You see, I did a report about a young father of two that was recently murdered a day after celebrating his birthday by suspected cultists at a Limpopo bar situated somewhere in Asaba and the gory photos from the incident had kept me heavy hearted since then. I felt pity for his family and two kids who will be denied fatherly love from now on. Did you see the YouTube video he made with two others on his birthday before getting killed the next day? OMG! I can’t blame him for dying dishonorably like a chicken. I blame the sweet tale enticing monster, cultism that’s lurking around to claim it’s next victim who may be saved by a decision made from this post.
However, before the Asaba killings came to limelight, there were also cases of clashes leading to lost of lives and setting of cars ablaze in Sapele but the reports could not be authenticated because there were neither photos nor video evidences to that effect and were thus discarded.
WHY YOU SHOULDN’T JUST SAY NO TO CULTISM BUT FLEE FROM ANY SLIGHT TALE OF IT.
One of my favorite motivational quotes that centered on the law of association states that when you follow five people of a certain trait, the probability of becoming the sixth one of the same behavior is very high. I can’t become a cultist is a mere talk that leads to mistaken identity when you keep a company that belongs. Ever wondered why some areas and states are dominated by a particular cult group? that’s the law of association cum culture displayed.
As lame as it may seem to those still engrossed in the act, Cultism leaves you vulnerable and dependent at old age. That’s one of the reasons that older cult members that had escaped the clutches of the sweet tale monster refuse to associate with younger members of the cult they once belonged to. I read a post that struck me recently and it said, “Ten years in cultism, no car, no house, no achievements. Just scars and bullet marks, why not quit?â€. Who wouldn’t quit when mates are excelling and all you have to show for existence is countless scars from fights and tales of the several times you have escaped death. Many give up cultism at old age only to end up as a bunch of liabilities with entitlement mentalities of dependence and when frustration sets in as a result of unmet expectations, your guess of an unfulfilled life becomes as good as mine. Please quit.
CULTISM HAS NEVER AND CAN NEVER GUARANTEE PROTECTION. Don’t be deceived.
I laugh out very loud not because I find it amusing but because it is sheer stupidity for someone to be enticed into the sweet tale monster that promises protection. Have you ever seen how remorseful a cultist is when outnumbered by rival cultists before? You may really need to reconsider becoming a member. Or should we ask where then is the protection when members of the same cult group that swore to protect each other, mobilizes to maim and kill themselves for a quest best known to them?
THE UNKNOWN AND SOMETIMES NEVER TO BE MET ENEMIES.
No matter how large your cult group can boast of in membership, a combination of the population of all other cult groups supersedes your number and outweighs the influence posed. This should have been number one reason why you should flee from the sweet tale monster but there’s a reason for leaving it last. Patience is a virtue. The day you choose to take the path of the sweet tale monster is the day that you have chosen to become an enemy to the countless thousands of people belonging to other groups and not excluding the security agents always beaming their searchlight to halt nefarious activities. You become enemy to rival cultists you know and those you don’t know and will never meet. You fret at the mere sight of their presence, not because you have had any encounter with them before but because your hand has being soiled. That’s why the anthem becomes “I am not a cultist†whenever they are surrounded by unfamiliar people some of whom may even be fellow cult members. They are not only victims of the fear of the unknown, some become slaves of inferiority complex when permanent residency becomes a factor.
No cult group ever holds sway or dominates all region. It’s a continuous battle of supremacy and if you are not aware, let it be known that the more influence a confraternity wields in dominance, the more members it loses. I will make an illustration to buttress and conclude.
In a society that has four cult groups with cult A in dominance, more members of dominating cult A will likely lose their lives because they become easy targets for the others combined. They may end up winning individual battles and losing wars in the long run. So when next you are tempted to belong because the cult group commands respect due to large membership, let it sink into you that, “na we dey run things for this area†is simply an invitation to become an easy target to hit when the clashes begin.
