Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, and Chairman, Presidential Task Force PTF on COVID-19, Mr. Boss Mustapha, has gone into self-isolation after some members of his family tested positive for the virus.
Mustapha, who disclosed this in a statement on Sunday night, said he and his wife are currently negative, but needed to observe all safety precautions by self-isolating.
The statement, which Boss Mustapha personally signed, read: “I would like to inform the general public that some members of my household tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday (Saturday) evening.
“Although they are currently asymptomatic, they have been isolated and are receiving care in one of the government treatment centres.
“My wife and I tested negative, but will remain in self-isolation and work from home according to protocols by the health authorities.
“I would like to remind all Nigerians that COVID-19 is real. As the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, announced last week, we are recording an increase in cases across several states.
“Please stay safe and protect yourself. Adhere to all public health and safety measures so that we do not lose the gains we have made in the fight against COVID-19.

This year, 2020 has really been a turbulent year for many people across the world, starting from Nigeria to the other African countries. Only this year Nigeria had lost so many prominent People and Celebrities. The sad news is that this same happenings keep reoccurring in other African countries.
Today, a report of a young professional south africa Footballer died. The name of the Player which is known to be "Motjeka Madisha" died at the age of 25.
The 24-year-old South African Footballer played for a club known as Mamelodi Sundowns FC before he lost he dear life this morning.
Cause of Death
Motjeka Madisha died of a ghastly motor accident in South Africa.
The incident took place in East Rand, Johannesburg as early as 2am on the 13th of December, 2020. According to report, this was the second incident that will took place and claim lives of people on that particular road.
Madisha lost his life after his car hit a steel board on the road which later led to combustion. The dead player was with one more person in the car when they had the accident and the car got burnt.
Motjeka Madisha was born on 12 of January 1995. He died on 13, December 2020. The people of South Have started mourning the loss of their Defender.
