We do not support the establishment of the 'Eastern Security Network' - Eastern Governors...!
Eastern governors have criticized the establishment of the Eastern Security Network formed by Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the IPOB.
Eastern Province Coalition President Dave Umahi told reporters in Abakaliki, the capital of Ebonyi state on Friday in the Eastern Province that it was the most peaceful place, with no security concerns.
Umahi said, "I want to encourage our people that our region is the most peaceful place. No one can deny this."
"So when our brother from there has brought a security guard to the East, it's a joke that should be completely silenced."
He went on to praise the Eastern governors for "their efforts to protect people and the economy in the region despite the criticism leveled against them."
Umahi also said he disagree the removal of the Nigerian army chiefs to avoid any untoward incidents.
What do you think about this Eastern Security Network?
