After Mutilating A 6-year Old Girl's Genital, Police Have Arrested Suspect

Police have finally arrested the teenager, Abdulkadir Wada, who mutilated a six years old Girl's genital for ritual act in Mararaba, Nasarawa state.
According to Channel Television online, the arrest was made on Friday, 15th January 2021, after the boy allegedly committed the ungodly act two weeks ago and fled to Mararaba in Nasarawa state.
It was also gathered by Channels television journalists that the boy confessed after he was arrested.
"I strangled her and took her into an uncompleted building. Later my friend joined me after making sure that no one was watching,” he said while being paraded. He told me to slit her throat, but I told him I couldn’t. He brought out his knife and after confirming that she was motionless, he cut off her genitals”. He said.
The boy who allegedly committed this crime is a teenager of 19 years old, working for a ritualist. Meanwhile, the six years old girl is undergoing treatment while more investigation into the matter is still being carried out.

Man Who Attempted Suicide Because He Couldn't Marry Buhari's Daughter Got A Lot Of People Talking

There have been several reactions on social media on the news of a young Nigerian man who attempted suicide because Hanan, daughter of the president of Nigeria, refused to marry him.
The young Nigerian man whose name is Abba Ahmed, age 22, grew weary of life when he discovered the lady he has been longing to spend the rest of his life with, was no longer his but another man's wife. As a result of this, he decided that suicide was the best option for him.
However, upon trying to commit suicide, Ahmed was rescued by Nigerian police. The police spokeperson, Abdullahi Haruna disclosed on Friday that the young man had the intention of committing suicide but with so much counselling from the police he has changed his mind.
"We were able to invite Abba Ahmed to the police command. He was counselled by the Force PRO, DCP Frank Mba, as well as Kano CP, Habu Sani, and the command's imam, SP Abdullkadir Haruna, via a virtual session, at the end of which he rescinded his earlier decision to hang himself. He regretted his comments that if he did not marry the President's daughter, Hanan, he would hang himself." Said police spokeperson, Haruna.
The above news that was later shared on social media by Sahara reporter, has attracted alot of Twitter users and elicited several reactions. According to some commenters, the police should concern themselves with better security issues instead of going to safe the life of one who's tired of living. So many others opined that Ahmed should have been allowed to die. They are also who advised him to move on with his life since Hanan, the president daughter is now married to the man of his choice.
