He also said: “The Defence Headquarters says that investigation is going on over the matter. Lagos State Governor Sanwo Olu also said he has set up a probe panel to investigate what really happened at the Lekki toll gate massacre.



“So, he said the President couldn’t said anything because it would be premature and too confident while investigations are still ongoing over the massacre.



“he said Nigerians should be calm, that after all the investigations has been concluded that's when the president will be able to speak on the matter.”

Over 10 people have been reportedly killed while many had been left with gunshot injuries after soldiers launched the deadly attack on Tuesday night to disperse the youth.
Video recorded by protesters showed army shooting at those demonstrating.
The soldiers also blocked an ambulance from moving in to attend to gunshot victims.
