The 2023 presidential election may be three years away but the politicians across the party line has started to express interest through third party. Earlier this year, rumours of the national leader of the All Progressive Congress APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu willingness to contest went viral on the social media. Though the former Lagos State governor is yet to announce his interest, however, his political allies keep pushing for him.

There are insinuations too that the governor of Ekiti State and the former minister of natural resource, John Kayode Fayemi is also interested in the highest seat. Pastor Tunde Bakare to has expressed his interest saying, "He is ready for 2023".

Just yesterday the poster of the minister of transportation, Rotimi Amaechi and the governor of Kaduna State, Mallam El-Rufai surfaced in Abuja. The campaign poster shows that Amaechi will be running for the president while Nisri El-Rufai will be running for the vice president.

Though neither Rotimi Amaechi nor Mallam El-Rufai has confirm whether they know about the poster or not.

The former president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan added another year to his age today. The former president clocks 63 years old today.

Prominent Nigerians from all walk of life has sent their good wishes and congratulatory message to the Bayelsa born politician.

President Muhammadu Buhari in his congratulatory message wrote, "On behalf of the Federal Government, and Nigerians in general, I congratulate former President @GEJonathan on his 63rd birthday, today. We celebrate a life of service that has brought honour and goodwill to Nigeria".

The Norther State Governors Forum through their chairman and the governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong lauded president Goodluck that he is a true democrat. The forum also wishes the former president many happy return in good health.

Governor of Delta State wishes President Jonathan good health, he wrote on his twitter handle, "As our dear former President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, celebrates his 63rd birthday today, it is my prayer and that of millions of Nigerians, that God will continue to strengthen him and grant him great health. Happy Birthday Your Excellency!"

Governor Ortom of Benue State described the former president as a man of honour. The former deputy president of the House of Senate, Senator Ike Ekweremadu hailed Dr. Jonathan for his democratic temperament and selfless leadership.
