Hours After Fulani Herdsmen Blocked Abuja Road With Cows, See What UniAbuja Students Did (Photos)
~3.3 mins read
The activities of some Fulani herdsmen have continued to get many Nigerians perturbed. As it seems, the lingering clashes between herders and farmers have continued for many years now. Although the federal government and the state government are doing enough to bring this to an end, some herdsmen however seem to have thwarted this effort.
Hours ago, some Fulani herdsmen were seen blocking a busy road in Abuja with their cows. As was seen, some road users were forced into stopping their cars, motorcycles as a result of the moving cows.
Here are some pictures;
Hours after this incident, another protest has however resumed in Abuja. Presently, some students of the University of Abuja are out in their numbers protesting on the street of Abuja. These students were captured in Abuja carrying placards as they protest against what they termed injustice from the school authority. As is observed, these students have tabled a 4 point demand for the school authority which includes;
• Re-opening and extension of school fee portal till the end of the session.
• No late payment of any registration fee including add and drop
• Reviewing of school fee charges ahead next session and reviewing of the college of Health Science fee for the current session.
• Postponement of First Semester exam date till 8th of March, 2021.
Here is a screenshot;
As it stands, many Nigerians are reacting to this situation. The majority thinks that this is indeed a bad decision coming from the school authority. They however asked the government to intervene.
There are a few others who think differently. This group of persons reasoned that this is indeed wrong. They called on the President to intervene.
What do you think?.
• Do you think that the President should interview now?.
• Do you think that these demands are to be met?.
• Do you think that the students are asking too much?.
• Do you think that the school authority should be questioned?.
