Man Arrested For Killing Native Doctor In Anambra; Claims God Instructed Him To Do So (Photo)

IgbereTV reports that the police in Anambra state have captured a self-acclaimed pastor distinguished as Uchenna Chukwuma, 21, for supposedly killing a 60-year-old local specialist, Oliver Chukwudi Ugwu, in Umusiome, Nkpor, on Thursday, September 3.
The representative of Anambra State police order, SP Haruna Mohammed, said men of the Ogidi divisional police headquarters were cautioned following the occurrence happened.
Police analysts showed up at the scene and captured the presume who during cross examination, said he was sent by God to slaughter the expired local specialist. As indicated by the police, the presume said the local specialist was upsetting him profoundly and has not permitted him to advance monetarily.
Haruna Mohammed included that the casualty was hurried to the Iyi Enu emergency clinic Ogidi for clinical consideration where he was ensured dead by the clinical specialist on appearance. His body was saved at the emergency clinic morgue for examination.
Haruna Mohammed said the cleaver utilized in executing the wrongdoing was recouped as a display and that the case has been moved to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Awka for prudent examination so as to unwind the real conditions encompassing the occurrence.

Federal Government To Sack 37 Ex-SARS Operatives

About 37 former members of the disbanded Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad, FSARS have been pencilled down for dismissal from service.
The Police Service Commission, PSC is also expected to order the prosecution of 24 other ex-SARS operatives for various acts of professional misconduct.
In a media statement signed by the Commission’s spokesman, Ikechukwu Ani, the decisions are some of the highlights of the Report of the Presidential Panel on Reform of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad set up by the Federal Government in 2018 to reform the dreaded unit.
The Presidential Panel had, among other things, investigated allegations of human rights violations and abuse of office against SARS and recommended reform or restructuring of the outfit.
Presenting the report to the PSC Chairman, Musiliu Smith, in Abuja on Friday, the Executive Secretary of the National Human Rights Commission, NHRC, Tony Ojukwu, called for a speedy implementation of the panel recommendations.
The statement observed that the PSC Chairman has all it takes to deal appropriately with the report of the panel.
