Despite the disapproval of some Nigerians, the Nigerian Government had insisted that the trial of the IPOB leader would hold no matter the Protest by people.

The Nigerian Government had fixed the date for the trial of Nnamdi Kanu to hold after he was extradited to Nigeria to face the law.

Nnamdi Kanu's lawyer, Ifeanyi Ejiofor had requested that Nigerians should pray for Nnamdi Kanu and the Lawyers to make the trial go in Favour of the IPOB Leader.

The Lawyer revealed that the prayers of the IPOB supporters would go a long way to save Kanu and make him victorious in Court. The Lawyer used this opportunity to reveal that the Court has confirmed that the Judge who would handle the Case would be active on 26th July despite the Vacation.

Judges in Nigeria would go on Vacation from the 26th of July and the vacation would end on the 17th of September and this was Why Ifeanyi Ejiofor called the court to confirm the activity of the Judges.

The Nigerian Government made 11 count charges against Nnamdi Kanu and the major ones are: - Terrorism, Illegal Possession of Firearms and Felony. These charges were made following the secession operations, Formation of the Eastern security network (ESN) which had been attacking Nigerian security and destroying government-owned properties in the South-East zone.
