Since the outbreak of the ubiquitous coronavirus pandemic otherwise known as COVID-19 in the country, our medical experts have continued to tell us that there is no cure for this deadly virus.

The best which these experts could offer, were precautionary measures to contain this virus which include; regular hand washing with soap under running water, application of alcohol-based hand sanitizers, wearing of face masks, avoid shaking hands and maintaining social (physical) distancing, among others.

Many thanks to our indefatigable Radio and Television stations which monotonously drum these precautionary measures into our ears, using various languages, multifarious dialects and other serio-comic expressions, to reach the citizenry. 

Interestingly, even our nonagenarians and centenarians in the remotest localities, are very conversant with these proactive measures. 

Amazingly, each time one visits the hinterland and tries to lecture any of them on these preventive measures, he/she would greet your "gospel" with triumphant smiles, and beckon on you to change the topic to something else, as he/she is already very familiar with your message.

This is why our electronic media (including even the local town-criers), should be highly commended for the unprecedented sensitization of the public on this invisible enemy called COVID-19.

Having said this, let me quickly come to the crux of the matter which actually spurred this write-up. On a daily basis, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), updates the nation with the number of the Confirmed cases, Deaths and Recoveries.

Now, my question is this; since no drug or vaccine has been discovered to cure this global pandemic, how come many of the patients are said to be recovering on a daily basis?

Which drug was used in curing them? What is the magic or mystery behind these recoveries? What is it that the authorities are hiding away from members of the public which they don't want to disclose?

It is on this barrage of rhetorical questions that I have to draw the curtain here, as every edition does not call for a lengthy epistle or thesis. An answer (s) to these agitating questions would be profoundly appreciated. 

It is said that about 70% of human problems are self-inflicted. Same can be said of the victims of sexual assault, occasioned by indecent or psychedelic dressing of our ladies, all in the name of fashion.

While it is unjustifiable and equally indefensible for anyone to assault any lady sexually as a result of her irresponsible mode of dressing, our womenfolk should desist from doing those things that expose them to their predators.

Honestly, I pity some of my fellow men at times, particularly the philogynists who are usually seduced by these psychopaths who parade themselves as 'Big girls' in the cities. 

How can any sane man looking for a wife ever think of these shameless and frustrated tarts, whose stock in trade is to send gullible young men to their early graves, through their seductive dressing and flaunting of their aphrodisiac posterior. 

A popular adage in my area says that one does not see a burning flame and plunge himself into it, except the person had earlier prepared for suicide. 

Another painful aspect of this ugly scenario, is that most of these fashion crazy lunatics, are veritable sources of most dreaded and incurable sexually transmitted infections (STI)

For now, they may not realize the enormity of harm they are inflicting on themselves through sexual promiscuity, occasioned by their irresponsible mode of dressing. 

Eventually when the law of diminishing returns sets in, as they advance in age without trapping any (unlucky) man, they will start blaming witches and wizards in their localities for their woes.

The next thing they do is to start migrating from one 'Prayer house' to another, branding themselves 'Born-Again' and parading some religious insignia to hoodwink people. 

They do not stop at that, as they also engage in patronizing various herbalists and witch doctors who also collect their own share of the ill - gotten money, acquired through their illicit trade.

This they do in search of an elusive solution to their self inflicted predicament, particularly when the chickens eventually come home to roost.

Now is the time to change. Dress decently and behave responsibly. This is a subterfuge and antidote to avert these calamitous consequences.

Can you observe anything from the ghostly eyes of this unrepentant daughter of Lucifer, who flaunts her destructive callipygian to ruin the lives of fun-seeking men?
