Never Do This If You Feel Discomfort In Your Eyes. Check Out What To Do
~1.2 mins read
From time to time you are likely to feel an itch or discomfort in your eyes and the first instinct is to scratch. While scratching, you are doing more harm than good to your eyes.
Eye discomfort can be very annoying and too much scratching can lead to blindness especially when there is stone in the eye.
The eye is a very delicate organ so you should be very careful what you do to it.
So when you feel something in your eyes here's what to do;
1. Never Scratch: no matter what, resist the urge to scratch when something enters your eyes. But if it is an itch that won't go away the use one finger and rub slowly in circles.
2. Take a Mirror and Check: if you know the cause of irritation it's more easier to take care of it and try to blink slowly. Now check the eye, you may find a hair/an eyelash, sand particle, or any small dirt.
3. Get Rid of the Dirt: to get rid of sand and dirt particles, wash your hands and fill them with warm water then put your eye in the water and blink for 5 seconds. Try again till the eye is clear. For hair in the eye, wash your hands and use your finger to remove the hair, make sure you don't have long nails, or you can use a cotton bud to remove it. If its dust, wash the whole face. Check your lashes for trapped dirt.
Note:
Brush and moisturise your lashes using a clean mascara wand to avoid breaking and entering your eyes.

3 Ways You Are Slowly Killing Your Body Without Knowing
~1.2 mins read
Doing these things might seem okay now but it will have adverse effects on you when you grow older.
1. Not drinking enough water:
Sometimes people avoid drinking water because they hate peeing. What they don't know is that the water flushes toxins from the body. Failing to drink enough water causes frequent illness to the body, poor skin health (I.e dry skin, wrinkles and sagging skin), fatigue and dehydration. Benefits of drinking water includes; healthy skin, balanced blood sugar and avoiding kidney and hear diseases.
On average a person should take at least 2 litres of water daily.
2.Not exercising: some like to brag that they don't do any chores and can afford to drive anywhere. But not taking those few minutes walks or not doing some chores and being a couch potato is an inactive lifestyle.
What you don't know is this causes poorer blood circulation, your bones get weaker, you lose muscle weight and are more likely to gain weight. Health risks include obesity, stroke, high blood pressure and other heart related diseases. So take a walk in your neighbourhood (at least 15 minutes), do some housework, gardening and yard work, stand up when talking on the phone, take the stairs instead of the elevator etc.
3. Packaged foods: some packaged foods contain and are loaded with harmful preservatives to increase their shell life, chemicals based ingredients, lack of essential nutrients, excessive sodium and salt, unhealthy sugar levels and artificial flavours.
Eat as much natural food as possible, make some of your meals and eat fresh fruits.
