Beans porridge is one of the most portentous food but many people refused to eat it to prevent themselves from some of the problems that can be caused by beans. Beans have some negative effects which it can cause in the body if not properly cooked, even when cooked properly, still associated with bloating, indigestion, and also flatulence effects.
Despite the negative effects of beans, one needs to eat beans mostly children to help in developing their Brian cells.
In this article, we are going to take a look at how we can cook beans and eat without experiencing any form of beans related problems.
The ingredients and items needed to cook delicious beans recipes depending on the quantity and quality you want are beans, (brown, black, or eyed beans), palm oil, onions, salt, fresh pepper, stock cubes, yam or plantain, or sweet potatoes or baby corn, spices, crayfish, fish and seasonings.
Follow the following procedures to cook your delicious beans;
1. First of all, select your beans and soak them with water for at least 4 hours, parboil it for at least 5 minutes and wash it off from the water, put it in a sizable pot, pour in water and make sure it covers the beans in the pot, then start cooking it.
2. Endeavour to monitor it and top water when it goes down. Once the beans soften, add your spices, seasoning, Maggi, onions, crayfish, and pepper, and allow it to boil.
3. At this point, add your palm oil, sufficient salt, and cook it for at least 5 minutes.
4. After adding the palm oil and crayfish, turn the heat source off and add your baby corn (for thickener) and allow it for 5 minutes, then stir it very well and make sure it mixes properly.
Finally, your delicious bean porridge is ready. You can eat it either with plantain, yam, or sweet potatoes.
