There is some evidence that showed that these cyclic aromatic hydrocarbons cause cancer of the skin, lung, and bladder.
Seasoning or Spices That Contains Mono Sodium Glutamate
Most people use seasoning and spices when cooking because they give our foods a salivating aroma and great taste.
Although MSG is important for the great taste and aroma in foods, this chemical can also be toxic to our bodies, from neurotoxic defects and obesity to cancer, the use of this chemical should be controlled.
Artificial Sweeteners
Examples of Artificial Sweeteners include; aspartame, sucralose, acesulfame potassium, neotame, and saccharin. Saccharine and refined white sugar should be avoided when preparing foods because this kind of sugars tends to increase blood sugar levels, which might lead to diabetes or can also increase the spread of cancerous cells across other cells in the body. This is because cancerous cells can easily break down these kinds of sugar and it makes them grow a lot faster.
It is recommended that you use fresh fish and meat in place of the smoked ones. For the seasoning and spices, you should try and avoid the spice that contains MSG and use natural spices like Thyme, curry, ginger, garlic and ground crayfish. Honey or brown sugar should be used in place of saccharin. By doing these things you have successfully cut down on some of the things that cause cancer.
