2. Boiling vegetables
Boiling vegetables is an old way of preparing vegetables, this is because most of its nutrients are also lost when they are boiled. It can also make the vegetable to look less appealing to you.
Studies suggest that you steam your vegetable rather than boil it.
3. Oiling your vegetable
People believe that adding good amount of oil to their vegetable helps in preventing it from sticking to the pan. But actually adding large oil could lead to the vegetable getting burnt.
It is best you add a little amount of extra olive oil and add your vegetables to it. This will reduce it's chances of getting burnt.
4. Not adding salt
Adding salt to the water you are boil for your vegetable helps it to boil at a higher temperature. This is recommended for vegetables like potatoes.
