Laycon’s mum has taken to social media to appreciate supporters of Laycon and Icon in general.
The video of his mum which featured her speaking Yoruba is then interpreted to English.
According to her, she’s very grateful to all Icons and she thanked them for not deserting Laycon, especially this time that he needs them most.
She further advised Laycon not to think or brood in the house. Assuring him that things will be fine and he will come out strong with his Grand Prize.
She concluded her words with some prayers for both Laycon and his supporters.
According to her, Laycon left home with her blessings and will return home to take good care of her, just as he desires.
She said,
“Icons, I’m grateful. You all are blessed. Thank you for not deserting Laycon. Laycon is blessed.
He is already blessed. Laycon, please don’t think too much. Don’t brood in the house. You are the owner of the N85 million.â€
At the beginning of her video, she referred to herself as ‘mama Icon’ as a sign of pledging her solidarity to Icons.
Isn’t that a wonderful one, a mother’s support for her son and his fans across the globe.

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire is a Nigerian game show which was based on the original British format of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. It first aired on 8 october 2004 and was suspended on 25 June, 2017.
However, the game show captivated many Nigerians and kept them glued to their television set. This was as a result of what the show offered; Informative, educative, suspenseful, thrilling and a host of other similar adjectives could easily fit in to the decription of this show.
The lovely show, which always presented by the talented TV host, Frank Edoho, was quite popular among Nigerians back then. Hardly, could you find a person who didn’t know about the show.
One of the major sponsors of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire which was produced by Ultima Limited was telecommunications giant, MTN.
In June 2017, Frank Edoho announced that the show is going on a temporary break, an announcement which came as a surprise to many. The question on the lips of most fans was why did such an entertaining show had to be canceled?
However, according to reports, Frank later took to his twitter account to reveal the cause of the suspension is as a result of the withdrawal of sponsorship by MTN Nigeria which was the major sponsor.
So literally the show was put on hold as a result of lack of patronage from the Telecommunications giant.
