Ten Nigerian Male Celebrities You Didn't Know That Have Never Smoked
~5.2 mins read
As a celebrity, whether in the film, music or tech industry, the common assumption is that there are certain leisures you must indulge in. Emphasis on must.
It's like there is this unspoken rule that you must smoke, you must have baby mamas, you must dress to expose parts that should stay in, you must do this and that which in an otherwise sane community, you wouldn't dare. I mean, sometimes I just sit back, observe them all and shake my head. It's not only a problem with foreign artists, also here in Nigeria. That stereotype image that comes to mind once you hear the word 'celebrity'. It's saddening because everyone is watching, much younger ones are watching, learning, copying, making the wrong people role models.
However, some men in the Industry have refused to buy into this stereotype image. Their level of decency and moral strength is worthy of emulation. Personally, I feel they deserve a kind of special recognition. Or do they? Why should we 'specially recognize' people for doing the right thing? If not because everyone seems to be doing the wrong thing, so it seems like magic or achieving the impossible when some decide to stay clean.
Nonetheless, it is what it is right? From my long time observations, here are ten celebrities who have never been seen smoking or widely drinking. (PS: Smoking is very bad, so you had better stop if you still smoke).
1. Ebuka
A fashionista I stan!
2. Johnny Drille. Signed to Mavins records, the rising pop singer has been regarded often and on as the Jon Bellion of Nigeria.
3. Banky W
Whether it's the 'Adesua effect' or just one of those rare instances where people completely change, Mr W is at the moment one of Africa's finest gentlemen.
4. Ladipoe
His latest song 'know you' which he got Simi on has been raving for long time now. It's a hit song, no doubt about that. You can ask tiktok users. Also signed to Mavins, Ladipoe has never been seen smoking anywhere.
5. Ric Hassani
Have you heard his verse on Chike's nakupenda(the biggest song of Chile's boo of the booless album)? Hassani is undoubtedly one of the finest voices in the industry. Equally charming, he is known not just for his singing prowess but his modesty in all things. He doesn't smoke. At least we haven't seen him, not on any music video, not anywhere.
6. Williams Uchemba
Actor, comedian, businessman and philanthropist. The dashing young Igbo millionaire is regarded as one of the most eligible bachelors in Nigeria. And no, Will doesn't smoke.
7. Adekunle Gold
It seems the only non-smokers in the Industry are singers. Most of the rappers smoke the hell out of themselves(pardon my strong language). Anyhow, AG baby, Simi's hubby and Deja's dad is a fascinating character. And no, we have never seen him smoking.
8. Falz
Forgive me. Falz should have been number one because he is by far the most decent and well respected gentleman in that industry. A comedian, rapper, actor and a lawyer, Falz is just a model worth emulating. I have never seen him flaunt his cars or houses or jewelries or worse smoke. Never. In fact in his visuals, it's always that pink car from soft work he uses. Don't even tell me it's because he is not as rich as...you have no idea.
9. Don Jazzy
The godfather himself. I just love his lifestyle.
10. 2baba
A legend, a king, a hero. Nobody has a record as spotless as this man. 20 years in the industry and he is still as relevant as ever. The biggest flaw in his career is perhaps his baby mama saga. Apart from that, 2baba is a dedicated husband to the stunning Annie, a loving father to all his kids and a model we all look up to. He may be the last on this list but he is definitely not the least.
That's it guys, have any reactions, suggestions or complaint? Leave them in the comment section. Thank you!

Living In Bondage Star Actor, Jideofor Achufusi Shares His Traditional Marriage Lovely Photoshoot
~1.3 mins read
Popularly known as Swanky Jerry, the young and vibrant, also very talented actor shared pictures of his traditional marriage recently via his Instagram account.
The gorgeous bride is Ashaka Chisom and the opinion rife online is that they have been friends for very long.
Jideofor Kenechukwu Achufusi is the biggest reason why the sequel to the blockbuster Nollywood movie, living in bondage was so popular upon release. Breaking free is a well told story of love, greed, and consequences of doing things the wrong way. As the protagonist in the movie, Achufusi who played the role as Nnamdi Okeke did a very good job. Both as a son, a lover, a young man in search of wealth, a friend and of course as a brother.
His acting style has been praised and lauded as smooth, masculine but not overwhelmingly masochistic, flawless and very stylish. What u like most is how he combines Igbo with English so flawlessly. It adds to the unique flavour of whatever role he is given to play.
Upon the sharing of these pictures, fans especially the female ones have been insisting and in a rather jocular manner praying it is only a photoshoot from a movie not an actual marriage. This is not out of place seeing that Jideofor is refreshingly handsome and perhaps one of the brightest young stars in the movie Industry.
