A 100 Level FUTO Student Commits Suicide

A 100 level student of the Federal University of Technology Owerri has committed suicide. The tragedy occurred after the student packed into a new accommodation he secured for himself.
The student whose name is Daniel Uchenna Nwafor was admitted into the Department of Chemistry and was in his 100 level before he took his life at the age of 18 years.
It was reported that Daniel was diagnosed with some ailments and he has been battling the disease.
Recently, he packed to his new lodge situated at Umuchima, Ihiagwa in Owerri West Council Area of Imo State and was accompanied by his mother who stayed with him for seven (7 days) before she left.
The young boy who was 18 years old committed suicide after two (2) days after his mother left the lodge.
It was reported that Daniel hanged himself in his room after he left a note for his mother.
However, the school authority and the Imo State Police Command have confirmed the death of the young man.
