Last year Burna Boy join the league of G.0.A.T (greatest of all time), and he has proven that countless times. His album ‘Africa giant’ gave him more recognition across the globe. The album was nominated for Grammy Awards (best World Music) which he lost to Angelique Kidjo.
While Davido has been making us proud from onset, he is recognized as one of the G.O.A.T in Nigeria music industry, Nigeria has ever produced. He is still young and talented to deliver more hits and has been at the Top-notch after the release of his 2nd Album “Omo Baba Oluwo”.
Recently, Davido and Burnaboy seem that they have been throwing shade on each other base on my findings. After davido posted a photoshop picture of him and wizkid on Twitter and caption it “greatest of all time” on 22, May 2020.Shortly, Burnaboy took to his snapchat and pen down a cryptic message. “You cannot play football, everybody knows you cannot play football and you are an embarrassment to the team but your daddy bought the football team,” he wrote.On 10 September 2020, When Davido released a musical video for “fem” several people believe that it was a dis track to Burna Boy, which resulted to strong reaction from their fans.
According to pulse.ng the growing beef allege that the issue began after Burna Boy didn’t give Peruzzi a songwriting credit for his single, ‘Pull Up.’ That credit would have meant Peruzzi got Grammy-nominee right for African Giant.
For a while, people have been comparing this great Nigeria musician based on their recent performance and studios album released. Looking from the perspective of studio album they released last year.
In my opinion, Davido studio “Good Time” album is no match to Burna Boy “Africa giant album with these reasons below.
1. Burna Boy Album Promotes Africa Culture: Burna Boy album portray the true spirit of Africa music. Only the name of the album will tell you which continent this guy is coming from. The genre of the music is pure afro pop, no mix-up. All songs listed on the Album is lyrically endowed compared to that of Davido.
2. Burna Boy Album “Africa Giant Received Public Recognition: Africa Giant Album was nominated for Grammy Award (Best World music awards) which he lost to Angelique Kidjo. Burna Boy’s Africa Giant album becomes the first certified Nigeria album in the United Kingdom. We all know that winning an Award in your field of endeavor is an acknowledgment of a job well done which davido album didn’t get such International recognition.

Nollywood actress, Linda Osifo has explained why most women in the movie industry are more successful than their male colleagues.

When asked why women do better, have more cars than the men in the industry, Osifo, speaking during an interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on Rubbing Minds, said there are so many more avenues for women to make money than men.

According to her, actresses have ambassadorial deals from wig brands, skin care, clothing brands, which is why some of them have more money than men and are able to acquire houses.

Linda said, “As a woman compared to a man I have more options to get more jobs than a man.

“I can advertise hair, wigs, shoes and a wide range of clothes from brands which most men cannot. The ratio of men to women is 1:3 which makes the market wider for us.

“I’ve become a brand ambassador to skincare brands and that’s an industry that men don’t dominate and conquer so this is how women are more successful.

Women have more opportunities to make money.”

The 29-year-old actress said the mentality of the society that a woman can’t make it on her own is the reason for the rumors that most actresses have illicit affairs.

I’ve come to understand that society has the mindset that most women can’t succeed on their own. It’s a big problem because there are many women who are doing so much for themselves,” she added.

She noted that social media plays an important role in an actor’s career because we are in a digital world but talent sustains your success.

“The more people on social media platforms, the more you can market to them but at the end of the day talent sustains success,” she said.
