BBNaija lockdown housemate, Laycon has been offered a great chance to perform at the Afronation Festival in Portugal alongside Wizkid, Burna Boy, Olamide and others. 

 

The name Laycon cannot go without trending online since over a month now.

He has used the Opportunity of Bbnaija Reality TV show very well. While still in the house, he has gotten a very big fanbase, some invitations from abroad, endorsement deals, won different prizes in the house and lots more. Meanwhile, he also has the upper hand among the remaining housemates to go home with N85m prizes.

He has also used the platform to promote his songs. This Strategy with the fact that he is a man of Grace had opened up a lot of opportunities outside the house that even if he doesn’t win the money, he is already established outside the house.

However, a man identified as “Iamsmade” had confirmed that he would have Laycon participate in the Afro nation Festival which would take place in Portugal. Also, he would be performing among Nigerian Superstars, the likes of Wizkid, BurnaBoy and others.

 

Nigerian singer and producer turn blogger identified as Samklef who seem to be happy with the news reposted it on his page to make people aware of the big moves waiting for Laycon to showcase his talents to the world.

Laycon’s mum has taken to social media to appreciate supporters of Laycon and Icon in general.

The video of his mum which featured her speaking Yoruba is then interpreted to English.

According to her, she’s very grateful to all Icons and she thanked them for not deserting Laycon, especially this time that he needs them most.

She further advised Laycon not to think or brood in the house. Assuring him that things will be fine and he will come out strong with his Grand Prize.

She concluded her words with some prayers for both Laycon and his supporters.

According to her, Laycon left home with her blessings and will return home to take good care of her, just as he desires.

She said,

“Icons, I’m grateful. You all are blessed. Thank you for not deserting Laycon. Laycon is blessed.

He is already blessed. Laycon, please don’t think too much. Don’t brood in the house. You are the owner of the N85 million.”

At the beginning of her video, she referred to herself as ‘mama Icon’ as a sign of pledging her solidarity to Icons.
