~3.4 mins read
It won't be shocking to know that Nnewi is the most successful town in Nigeria, the town is rich in various ways, in terms of industrial and educated people, am not saying there are no other successful towns in Eastern Nigeria, That is why in this article, we will take a critical look at this part of Nigeria and find out more about it.
It is important to note that, the first billionaire in Nigeria Sir Louis Odumegwu Ojukwu who is the father of late Biafran leader, chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu came from Nnewi.

Nnewi is a town in Anambra State Nigeria which is blessed by good fortune or hard work, it has produced more billionaires than any town in Nigeria and possibly Africa. The Igbos have been able to build themselves from the foundation because of the entrepreneurship drive they have, after a controversial policy left each of them with 20 pounds, regardless of their bank balance, after the Nigerian civil war in 1970.

However, Nnewi is popularly known as “the Japan of Africa” is known as the headquarter automobile spare part dealers, The town is also famous to have several factories that produce household items, Nnewi, with a population of about two million people is a 30-minute drive from the Onitsha the largest outdoor market in West Africa on the banks of the River Niger.

Below is a list of some billionaires who are from Nnewi and their companies.

Cletus Ibeto: The Chairman of Ibeto Group, He is a dealer on motor products, real estate, agriculture, and cement and several others.

But I have goodnews for you all.... There is no point looking for a job when you can actually create one for yourself with as little as 50k and be an employer of labour.
Now let's look at the business and how to start.

Starting a POS business is very rewarding most especially in areas where there is few or no banks/ATMs. It is one of the easiest way of making cool money in Nigeria with no stress.
POS business also known as agent banking business involves the transfer of funds, withdrawal of funds, sales of recharge cards, payment of other bills such GOTV, DSTV, Electricity bill etc.
POS agents charge a minimum of N100 for a transaction of N5k and below. From 5k - 10k they charge N200, although it depends on the area & locations. But the point is that, they are actually making cool & easy cash.
