Former presidential candidate,human rights activist and founder of Sahara reporters, Omoyele Sowore has given a hint on what students in public higher institutions need to do in order to force the federal government to end the ongoing Asuu strike.
Sowore was reacting to what politician and human rights advocate,Prince Henry Nwazuruahu popularly known as Henry Shield said about the ill-treatment being meted out to University students.
Henry Shield had said that, "University students in Nigeria have been home for 8 months. No nation on Earth should treat its young people like this."
Reacting to Shield's tweet,Sowore advised the students at home to stage a mass protest to force the Federal government to end the strike. He also assured the students that he will join such a protest.
"The reason they don't care is because their kids don't go to school in Nigeria" Sowore said.
