Beal University Offers A Scholarship For The RN-BSN Program

Things are improving in the United States as vaccines are made available to the citizens who need them most. One thing that prevents us from getting even better results is the lack of BSN in its hospitals and healthcare facilities. Even before the pandemic broke out, there were hardly any Bachelor of Science nurses in Maine. And as many of our most experienced and qualified nurses retire, we will need more BSN designation nurses. It is extremely important that we support those who want to help us in our difficult times. Beal University wants to do its part by offering a new scholarship to nurses looking to earn their undergraduate degrees. Beal University is committed to providing dedicated nurses with access to higher education. Beal’s RN-BSN program gives RNs the opportunity to build on their previous education to meet the needs of nursing in today’s complex healthcare system. In this program, Beal University helps students navigate a collection of key topics relevant to modern nursing. Leadership, critical thinking, and professional nursing practices are some of the skills students will learn as part of the program. While it currently seems difficult to continue your education, hospitals and clinics across the country have to work nurses to earn their undergraduate degrees. Fortunately, in Beal’s RN-BSN program, students don’t have to put their lives on hold to participate. Beal’s student-centered approach to designing the program made sure it was completely online and will work anywhere. 2020 was a year full of challenges, but not without success. Over the past year, more than 70 nursing students at Beal University overcame difficulties and completed with flying colors. Dr. Colleen Koob, Dean of the School of Nursing, prides itself on the positive impact these graduates have made.

Newbold From Frankfurt Wins Evans Scholarship

Frankfurter Senior Daniel Newbold, along with 29 other students from across the state, recently won the Evans Scholarship, a prestigious grant and full housing grant available to golf cadets following an online selection interview on Jan. 7. The Evans Scholarship is valued at an estimated $ 120,000 for four years of housing and tuition at Michigan State University or the University of Michigan, where Newbold and the other awardees will be staying at the Evans Scholarship House. “I feel really blessed to take advantage of this opportunity,” said Newbold. “Being able to work at Crystal Downs and get this scholarship and everything else is special to me because I worked very hard throughout my career in high school to get there. I really tried to do it.
