The Choices That Influences Your Creativity.. By E PLUS The Storyteller.

Do you know that there are countless options that you are continuously exposed to, and how well you handle them, defines your creative style- because everyone has a creative prowess and potential that defines uniqueness and style.
 
These options could be likened to how we prefer to take our meals, just like one of my favourite meals: Beans porridge! Beans Porridge is a very sumptous meal, and when explored, can go beyond ordinary to extraordinary! The difference lies in the inclusion and exclusion of certain varieties, what Yoruba would call: Orisirisi, what the lame man would call: Medemede.. however you want it, be sure you eventually would arrive at some point where the food would have carved out its own unique taste.
 
This singular narrative called: 'CHOICE' plays out in every narrative, and brings about the different flare of creativity.  Creativity thrives on many dynamics, and every one of them count.  From the choice of blending colours, painting, content creation, play on words(pun), voicing, visual art communication to Storytelling, every narrative plays out differently.

There are times you might be blending various colours just to make a Statement, other times there might be no colours. This speaks volumes of the significant roles of 'choice' in creative expressions, thus there is no straitjacket approach in telling a story. What's expedient is the ability to apply these choices discretely.

Let's highlight the choices we can explore in the course of a narrative..

1. Tell your story through regular plotting

2. Tell your story from the end of the story

3. Tell your story,  using  inanimate objects

4. Tell your story through prompts

 5. Tell your story through colours.

 6. Tell your story through analogies.

7. Tell your story through brainstorming and rhetorical questions.

8. Tell your story through pictures

9. Tell your story through research

10. Or a combination of everything.

    Identify your audience, and  locate your message on their language (i.e what they can easily understand)

Take advantage of the choices available, and maximize every space. Build a profile of  creative resources that would harness your creative prowess and expression. Allow your Inspiration to thrive on these available choices and go beyond the box, recreate and be innovative as you continue to extend these options. Every step counts.

From your plot, character, tone, mood, to the language, anchor every creativity on the aim to bridge the gap between the story and the audience.

Then, just like the delicious and well prepared and presented Bean porridge, your story is ready to be served. Ideas grow into words, words grow in sentences, sentences grow into paragraphs, paragraphs eventually grow into a complete master piece. The list of choices that makes up for these dynamics is inexhaustible. Remain focused as you continue to take those deliberate steps towards the big picture.

I hear people complain, thus:
E PLUS The Storyteller, I can't seem to gain access to most of the songs I use for the promotion of my brand, and even the few ones I can use, are being restricted in many countries, and this is limiting the chances of having potential clients! what's happening😭😭😭_

Yes, the narrative is changing, with regards to original contents, and how they can be used. The awareness is becoming well established, as people are taking their creative contents more seriously, and would do anything to protect them. This is the reason for the need to become more proactive in the area of branding.
  The more developed countries already have this narrative playing out hence, the 'Workable Structure' that protects creative contents and intellectual properties.
  Soon, there would be hardly any 'free access' to creative contents,  especially songs, one will now, have to take permission or pay before accessing them.
And this is why I encourage all my clients to have original songs, composed for their Brand, alongside the voice over and jingles 
Thankfully, they are all beginning to see the relevance as it relates to how far their brands can go, in terms of reach because those songs downloaded without permission from the owners(especially the ones abroad) are usually muted in most countries of the world.
You don't want to be a victim of a legal contention over rights of creative contents, not everyone will be so lucky🤷🏾‍♀️

The importance of Branding with original contents cannot be overemphasized. Various dynamics have to be taken into consideration to break the limitations of stereotype.

You should look at clients or prospective clients from varied dimensions and how they are able to connect with brands. 

There are clients that would relate with brands from the dimension of the colour associated to it, others are image,
then symbols, while others relate from the dimension of the song. Because you want to be that brand with foresight 
and sustainable vision, you need to explore all dimensions.

Having a brand song sets the tone for a contemporary and classical  link with your clients or prospective clients.

Music is the sole of any story, and as you tell the story of your brand through its medium, you set another tone for 
networking and feedback.

The list of the genre of songs a brand can explore, it's inexhaustible, and the possibility of merging all is not ruled 
out. Originality thrives on diversity.

In a time where people are constantly cutting a niche for themselves, identity is key and you cannot afford to be 'stale'

Thankfully, you can always engage the services of professionals to attend to these crucial aspect of business, as you continue to define your brand with style.
