In Yoruba land, money has never been the first most important value in Yoruba value system, money is the last which is the number six.
Here I'll share with you all the six values in Yoruba value system.
1: The number one is (Laakaye) = which is translated as knowledge wisdom and understanding.(ogbon imo ati oye).
2: The number two is ( iwa omoluabi) = Which is translated as Integrity, you will see in this world man/woman with integrity they are man/woman of their word, they will stand on the truth, there was a saying that, say the truth and the truth shall set you free.
It also merge with a good character.
3: The number three is (Akinkanju or Akin) = Which is translated as valour or boldness or bravery, you can agree that with me that Yoruba's are bold when it comes to war, they don't tolerate cowardice, Yoruba's has great courage in the face of the battle.
4: The number four is (Aniselapa ti kiinse ole) = Which is translated as having a good job like having a legal way of earning of putting food on the table for their family.
5: The number five is ( Iyi ) = Which is translated as honour, Yoruba's are honorary and prominent people in the country.
6: The number six which is the last is ( Owo or Oro ) = Which is money or wealth, and which is on the last list of Yoruba's value system.
