The population of Christians in Nigeria is fixed. Doesn't this simply mean all we're doing is snatching and biting members from the existing churches?

New Christian members will not suddenly fall from heaven. In the long run, all you're doing is poaching and stealing members from eachother in the name of expanding God's Kingdom.

Because the last time I checked, a pastor whose church population hasn't grown over the years is said to be 'unsuccessful in ministry'.

While this is true for most "commercial" mindset pastor as the writer generalizes, it's not completely true as the writer failed to look at less "commercial" styled pastors (Pastors who do not aim to convert but augment the teachings of other pastors). 

My point is, there are definitely aspiring "Pastors" who do not aim to own a physical congregation or convert people, these pastors instead aim to help people connect with their higher selves in an individualistic way. These type of Pastors we ll call the functional Pastors (You and I may not know them as Pastors, yet they fit the description of a Pastor
