Attack against our people will no longer be tolerated, Northern elders declare

Following the #EndSARS protests that rocked the country, the Northern Elders Forum (NEF) has declared that the north will no longer tolerate violence against its people in the southern region, The Cable reports. Ango Abdullahi, NEF chairman, made the disclosure while speaking during a town hall meeting with members of the northern community who were attacked during the #EndSARS protests in Port Harcourt, Rivers state.

According to Abdullahi, northerners in the state suffered “enormous loss of lives and assets” during the #EndSARS protests.

northern elders have warned against attacks on its people living in the southern region. photo credit: @uzusigy source: twitter this development is coming after the northern elders alleged that most violent acts against northerners are perpetrated by igbo. the chairman of nef made the allegation on tuesday, december 8 in port harcourt, rivers state while on a tour of northern communities across other parts of the country following the #endsars protests.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that the festering insecurity across the 19 northern states in Nigeria has turned the northern establishment, comprising elders, academics, prominent clerics, traders, farmers, and a segment of the public against President Muhammadu Buhari. The regional leaders, who hitherto were supporters of the president, are now of the view that Buhari had woefully failed in meeting the yearnings and aspirations of the region, especially regarding the security of lives and properties, thus the calls for his resignation.

The gale of the calls for the president’s head was aggravated by the recent massacre of rice farmers in Zabarmari village in Jere local government area of Borno state by Boko Haram terrorists. In a related development, the national leadership of the Northern Youth Leaders Forum (NYLF) has warned that it has alerted its members across the northern states of Nigeria and Abuja, to be ready to confront any group of people organising a second wave of the #EndSARS protests across the country. The group said the protest has long outlived its usefulness and it would not sit back and allow rogue elements to plunge Nigerians into another hardship in view of the already ailing economy.

Gunmen invade Lagos community, kill businessmen

Two businessmen have been reportedly shot dead by hoodlums who invaded Igbe-Lara community, in the Igbogbo-Bayeku Local Council Development Area of Lagos State on Sunday.

PUNCH Metro gathered that everyone was going about their daily activities when suddenly no fewer than 15 hoodlums, armed with sophisticated weapons, stormed the Igbe-Lara bus stop and opened fire on the people.

Residents and business owners, whose shops were located in the area, were said to have scampered for safety.

However, while a yet-to-be-identified man dealing in the dog business was shot dead at the front of a leisure centre, Dre Bar, another businessman, Olanrewaju Omobolaji, aka Excel, was also gunned down in a pub, Garden Bar.

Speaking with PUNCH Metro, a resident, Abideen Akintunde, said Omobolaji was shot in the head, adding that asides from the two dead victims, some other residents sustained bullet wounds.

He said, “The assailants stormed the area in two vehicles and shot continuously. A lot of people were wounded and two people were killed at different locations. The people who perpetrated the crime were about 15 in number.

“They came with sophisticated weapons. There was no sign that they had a target because the moment they got to the Igbe-Lara Junction, they opened fire and kept shooting as they entered into the inner street leading to the Garden Bar. While shooting, they drove past the bar and went down the road.

“It was when they were returning that they shot one of the customers, Olanrewaju Omobolaji, in the head inside the Garden Bar; he died on the spot. Later, we gathered that another man who sold dogs close to the Dre Bar, on the Igbe-Ginti Road, was also shot dead at the front of the bar.”

A picture made available to PUNCH Metro showed Omobolaji’s corpse on the floor in a pool of blood.

Another resident, Seyi Ismaila, while lamenting the insecurity in the area, said everywhere was tense when the hoodlums invaded the area around 4pm.

He noted that it was not the first time shooting incidents would happen in the community.

“Landlords, residents, business owners are tired of the insecurity in the community. Sometimes, you see cultists moving around with guns. We have had a series of shooting incidents involving cultists in this community and we are tired.

“The police should be able to trace the people that came to the community, killed two people and injured others. The community was very peaceful before, but at the moment, we are scared and we are no longer safe because of the activities of these cultists. We want law enforcement agencies to deploy policemen in the area to protect lives and property in Igbe-Lara.”

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, said only one person was killed, adding that the state Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, had ordered the Area Commander to beef up security in the area.

Adejobi said, “The incident happened opposite Dre Bar, in Olomitutu Junction, Igbe. A man was shot dead opposite the bar and policemen from Ijede division were deployed in the area. We don’t have any record of another death in the area. But from observation, apart from cultists, we know some boys usually come together in the name of gangsterism and cause problems.

“Most of these gang members are young and into hard drugs, so, when they are on drugs, they misbehave. But the Commissioner of Police had a meeting with the Area Commander to beef up security and normalcy has been restored.”

Suddenly, there is a loud knock on the door. Talk about a short-lived afterglow! We both jump up. I look for my panties and he zips up his pants.

It's room service. He rolls in our dinner. Thank goodness. Now I'm starved. The server uncorks the wine while I eye the steak. Looks scrumptious. The server pours a little for my host to taste. He nods with approval and the server pours the appropriate amount for both of us.

The server leaves. We clink our glasses together. "Cheers!" ...and begin to eat. Outside, the lights of the Las Vegas Strip are blazing. It's beautiful.

Another knock on the door...it must be my dress.

So, that wedding wasn't so bad. I think I'm starting to like them again.

I am sitting on the bed and he is standing in front of me. My robe is starting to fall open slightly exposing the top of my stockings and the side of my lacy panties. I see him eyeing the goods and I deliberately open the robe further. He moves closer to me, positioning himself between my legs. He puts his hands on the outside of each of my thighs and runs them down to my knees. This is a guy that enjoys the feel of a silky stocking.

I put my hand down the front of my panties and begin to rub my clit. He unzips and drops his pants and underwear. They gather at his feet. He grabs my panties on each side and pulls them down to my ankles. I kick them off. On his way back up, he stops at my pussy and teases me with a few licks. By this time, his cock is starting to rise. I encourage him to move just a little closer to me.

"Let me help you oil up." I said.

I stopped touching me, reached into my pocket and poured some baby oil into my hand. I move forward towards his semi-flaccid dick, and wrap my oil-filled hand around it, moving up and down over and over. Very quickly, he is hard as an iron rod and thick as my whole hand. I smile and lay back, watching him take over for me. His strokes are quick and strong. He starts to lightly moan, and spews cum all over my belly. Cum is nature's best lubricant. I scooped it off my tummy with my fingertips and continued massaging my clit. A warm wave of ecstasy washed over me, intermingled with a few twitches and spasms. That was a good one, for me. It looks like it was good for him, too. He has rolled on to his back; melted into the bed next to me.

Bay Leaf, also known as bay laurel, is a powerful herb that is useful for manifestation, prosperity, protection, cleansing and even psychic development. It is a favorite herb of many as it is easily accessible, has multiple magickal uses and is easy to grow inside of your home or garden.

Manifestation & Prosperity

Take a bay leaf and write your wishes and desires directly on the leaf.  While holding the bay leaf, begin to channel your wants, intentions and wishes into the leaf. Take as much time as you need to focus your energy, feelings and visualizations into the leaf. Feel and visualize receiving what you are asking for and be open to receive it. Once you are finished channeling and feel ready, burn the bay leaf. Watch the smoke of the Bay leaf carry your wishes and intentions out into the universe.

*This process can be done any time but is especially effective on a New Moon and is easy to include in any New Moon ritual.

To attract money, place a bay leaf into your wallet or purse and tuck it in with your money and cards. You can write money signs, symbols, your name or whatever you would like to write on your leaf. Keep the bay leaf in your wallet or purse and carry it with you. This will attract money, abundance and prosperity to you. If you are a business owner, you can take a bay leaf and slip it underneath or inside your cash register. This will attract successful business and new customers.

Protection & Cleansing

Burning bay leaf will cleanse and drive out any negative, harmful, or unwanted energies and feelings from yourself, your space and other people.  Bay leaf is a great addition to sage during a sacred space cleansing and will assist in the purification, protection and clearing of the space.

Take a bay leaf and write out all of your current worries, fears and anxieties directly on the bay leaf. Take some time and focus on releasing those unwanted feelings and worries into the leaf. Allow all of your stresses to flow out of your body and into the bay leaf. Once you are finished releasing your anxieties into the leaf, burn the bay leaf and watch the smoke of the Bay leaf carry away your worries out into the universe to be transformed into positive energy.

*This process can be done any time but is especially effective on a Full Moon and is easy to include in any Full Moon ritual.

That's very thoughtful." I said, "I'll take you up on that." We would miss the reception dinner (another chicken something), but I knew the bride would understand. I couldn't sit through the meal with a sticky, wet dress.

We both grabbed another cocktail for the road and headed to the elevators. This wedding has turned into quite the adventure. I can't wait to see what happens next.

Twelfth floor. He took my elbow and led me out of the elevator and to his room door. He pulled the key card from his inside jacket pocket and slid it through the reader. Green light - go!

Wow. His room was spacious with a balcony that overlooked the Las Vegas Strip. Fabulous!

He handed me a white guest robe, still folded and wrapped in crinkly, translucent paper and then directed me to the restroom where I removed my dress. I kept my lace panties and thigh-high stockings on and tried on my fuzzy, fresh robe...delicious and warm. I surveyed the hotel freebies on the counter top and slipped the baby oil into my robe pocket. I got the feeling I might need this later.

As soon as I left the restroom I heard a knock on the door. "It's just the cleaners coming to pick up your dress." he explained, "I called them as soon as you went to change."

He handed my dress to the man at the door and walked back to me. "I hope you don't mind, but since we missed dinner at the reception, I took the liberty to order us room service - steak and salad and a nice wine - Beaujolais nouveau. Did you want to add anything? I'm sure there is still time."

"No, thank you. That sounds delicious...better than chicken surprise!"

He smiled and we finished the cocktails that we had snagged from the bar before leaving the first floor.

I realized I didn't know a single person here, except the bride, so I stayed pretty close to the bar. All of us seemed to be taking advantage of the open bar and feeling pretty good.

Suddenly, I felt wetness splash on my exposed back and the back of my cobalt blue bridesmaid dress and I heard an "Oh, sorry, miss. I apologize! Let me help clean this up."

"Oh, crap." I turned around abruptly with a scowl on my face. "Dude! Take it easy!"

The bartender quickly handed me a wet rag.

"Ugh. Don't want a wet bar rag on my back, thanks." I said to myself, then, "No, thanks, anyway." I said politely out loud.

The guy who spilled his drink couldn't stop apologizing. I was a little bit drunk and while I was calming him down, I noticed I was a little attracted to this guy.

"Unfortunately, I don't think a bar rag is going to cut it." I said to the guy, "I really need to get to a sink large enough to contain this dress and some fresh water to rinse this drink out."

"Well, you can use the bathtub in my room, or I'll do you one better," he said, "You can use one of the guest robes, and I'll send your dress down to the in-house cleaners. I'll bet they'll have it ready in just a couple of hours."
