Paul Onuachu is gradually getting his rhythm in the Belgian league as he scored his second goal of the season during Genk's 4-0 win over OH Leuven, Goal, Soccernet.

The Smurfs bounced back from their Champions League elimination following the defeat to Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk over two legs.

Summary of the game

As early as the third minute Theo Bongonda scored Genk's first after getting an assist from Gerardo Arteaga to make it 1-0.

Bongonda thought he had doubled the lead for Genk but Nigeria's Onuachu had committed a foul in the build-up to the goal as it was ruled out by the referee.

Onuachu doubled the advantage in the 59th minute to make it 2-0 thanks to good work from Kristian Thorstvedt.

Goalscorer Bongonda turned provider for Japan international Junya Ito as made it 3-0 in the 77th minute.

Genk were not done yet as Kristian Thorstvedt put the icing on the cake two minutes after the 90 courtesy of an assist from Carel Eiting to complete the scoring at 4-0.

Onuachu played the entire duration of the game while his compatriots Stephen Odey and Cyriel Dessers were not used for the game.

Kingsley Okechukwu Ogbodo, former Enugu Rangers and Ujpest FC star was involved in a car accident while on Instagram Live.

In a video clip posted on Instablog9ja, the Enugu State Indigene based in the United Kingdom was driving to an unknown destination while going live on Instagram to socialize with his fans

Unfortunately, Ogbodo who didn't look like he noticed there was a car infront of him, felt a heavy collision but the airbag came to his rescue.

Legit.ng's check showed that only three people had joined his Instagram Live before Ogbodo crashed his vehicle.

However, it didn't look like he suffered a major injury despite the impact of the collision.

Ogbodo is now a football agent and manager/best friend to Leicester City's Kelechi Iheanacho.

He is also now FA registered Intermediary.

Kelechi Iheanacho is reportedly Mourinho's plan B at Roma

The Egyptian was among the goalscorers during Liverpool's campaign opener against newly-promoted side Norwich City on Saturday, August 14.

Since joining Liverpool from Roma in 2017, Salah has scored in each of the Reds' league opener.

The 29-year-old made continued his unbelievable goalscoring record on Saturday, August 14, as Liverpool took on the Canaries at Carrow Road as he scored his side's third goal in their 3-0 comfortable win.

His sensational record means he has now surpassed the record previously held by Teddy Sheringham.

The Premier League legend scored in four consecutive seasons between 1992 and 1995, with the first coming for Nottingham Forest.

He went on to replicate the same three times while turning out for Tottenham Hotspur.

Salah equalled that record during the 2020/21 season in Liverpool's 4-3 thrilling win over Leeds before surpassing it against Norwich.

The Egypt international provided three assists for the first two goals scored by Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino, before he got his name with the third in the 74th minute.

The goal was his 98th in the English topflight league, with only two of those coming with Chelsea during his brief stint with the Stamford Bridge dwellers.

Highflying Liverpool destroy Norwich

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Liverpool have started the new Premier League season on a flying note with a commanding 3-0 win over Norwich on Saturday evening, August 14.

Paul Pogba has become the first Man United player to register four assists in a single Premier League match.

Pogba was in fine shape during United's first Premier League clash of the 2021/22 season as he helped his side hammer Leeds 5-1 at Old Trafford.

Buoyed by the over 70,000 supporters who turned up at the Theatre of Dreams, United made a flying start to the new season to send rivals a clear warning.

However, they had to wait until the half-hour mark to break the deadlock when Pogba set up Bruno Fernandes for the opener.

Luke Ayling levelled matters minutes into the second half with a stunning finish from 25 yards, only for Pogba to swing the momentum in favour of the Red Devils by feeding Mason Greenwood who tore past the Leeds keeper to make it 2-1.

Fernandes extended United's lead shortly after thanks to Pogba's well-placed pass before the Portuguese completing a sensational hat trick by latching onto Victor Lindelof's raking pass.

Fred put the game beyond the visitors in the closing stages of the clash after Pogba feeding him a low cross to finish with a crisp drive.

Pogba's meticulous display saw him enter United record books as he proved his commitment to the club.

Man United humiliate Leeds at Old Trafford

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Man United got their Premier League campaign off to a blistering start after demolishing Leeds United 5-1 at Old Trafford.
