A mighty wind carried me into a cage. I couldn't control myself. 

 

The cage was in an island, water rounded us. Yes, us because there were many cages there. People in other cages just sat down helpless, they made no noise. Properly waiting for their death. I shook the cage furiously but it was like hitting a broomstick on an iron. I latter gave up.Tears rolled down. I could have listened to my mother. I wept as days passed I regretted. 

 

You can't turn back time. A young girl who was caged too whispered to me. I cleaned my tears. The girl and I got quite close. Imagine charting from cage to cage. Funny right? She introduced her self as Rita. She told me that she came form a poor home and she had a boyfriend who was a Yahoo. 

 

I knew he was a Yahoo boy but kept quiet because I needed the money. Rita said as she wiped her tears now look at where it has landed me. He made me mad. She broke down in tears I consoled her from the cage I was in.

 

We got closer and closer. Talking daily. Days passed, maybe weeks, months even years. There was no time nor calendar. Just sunset, sundown. Rita and I comforted each other as we hoped for better days.

 

On a fateful morning, We heard loud sound the waters kept splashing into the island. Suddenly, My cage door splang open. In fear I moved back. A man, in white appeared giving a go signal. I could remember looking at Rita's eyes. She needed help. I couldn't. It wasn't by my power. Tears rolled down her eyes as I walked out of the cage.

 

Immediately, I stepped out. I found myself in my body. I was wearing rag with some containers designed round my neck. The odour that came out from my parts could kill a mosquito .

 

I looked round, I found myself in a church. Prayer warriors surrounded me. The kept on praying. I saw my sis and mum at one corner crying. In my eyes, they looked more older. Jessi, I called my sister. My mom ran to the deliverance ground hugging me tightly. Uncontrolled tears rolled down from both eyes.

 

I fainted when I heard a prayer warrior say “Thank God after 7 years.”
