In African traditions,when someone died,the whole clan was supposed to mourn. Men could sleep outside,with a big fire while the women and children slept in their huts. This was meant to ensure that no couple was enjoying sex while the other members of the family were mourning. If there was any couple that went against this and unfortunately the wife gets pregnant during this mourning period, the baby born is believed to be carrying the evil spirits of the death. The baby grows normally,but the spirits follow them in adulthood. Any partner they get in life ,dies. The curse follows their partners up to 7th one. All the first 7 who get involved with the dies.

A man or woman can have the red thigh. In Kikuyu community it's called, " Kiero Gitune". If anyone relates with these people sexually,they gradually take away all your strength and you eventually die. Dating someone who has an history of dying spouses,then this is a clear indicator they got red thighs. 

It's believed that mostly,the undisciplined couple would mostly get baby girls,so red thighed women are more than me. The person who gets involved with the red thighed dies mysteriously, if they conceive and the baby is born the partner dies.

The red thighed are termed as charming beauties, romantic and men are always attracted to them, unfortunately, one cannot know if she has a red thigh just by the looks.

How does one identify a red thighed person? It's not a physical mark on the body like normal birth marks. However it's through the relations history that one can be able to tell one it's a red thigh indeed. It's spiritual.
