It was a rainy night, the rain threw themselves to Chidubem’s window. She held her blanket tight squeezing the top as she lay on her bed. She couldn't stop thinking of the horror movie “Chucky”she watched that night. She remembered how a young girl bought the doll and kept it close to her. Chucky stood at night, stabbing the girl without mercy.

Chidubem held herself tightly, she regretted watching that movie that night especially now her parents weren't around. Chidubem’s parents had earlier left for a meeting that night leaving only her at home.

She tried shutting her eyes with a seal tape but they opened wide. At last she gave up. She sat on her bed glaring at the pictures on the wall when her eye caught something.

“A Shadow” It crossed the room with a humming sound. 

At first Chidubem was afraid it took minutes before she summoned courage. She open the door quietly, as she was approaching the corridor her eyes caught a figure close to the wall, same eyes, nose and face just like identical twins. The figure starred at Chidubem. It smiled ‘just’ when Chidubem smiled.

Chidubem laughed loud turning the mirror backwards before going back to her room..
